Online Social Networking
While you may not call it online social networking, you're probably already doing it. If you use Instagram or Facebook or Twitter, you're part of the online social networking scene. Or maybe you're using Feedly or another aggregator to get news and other information using RSS. (If you haven't heard of RSS, check out the explanation given by Yahoo!). Or you might be one of the thousands of folks posting photographs at Flickr or home videos at YouTube. Or perhaps you read blogs for information or entertainment; maybe you have your own blog or Tumblr.
There's a lot happening online these days, but you need to be careful.OnGuardOnline.gov and Stay Safe Online provide tips for staying safe, protecting personal information, avoiding cyberstalking, and avoiding fraud while participating in online activities. They also include information for parents who have children using online social networking sites.
