Video Resources at CCC for Drama

The CCC Library has many great films on DVD. Entering your search terms and hitting "Search" will take you to the advanced search page; just hit "Submit," and you're off! Remember to search using general words, like "prisons," not very specific ideas like "prison discrimination in Colorado."

  • Videos can serve as primary sources that document major events or record speeches and interviews by people who witnessed those events.
  • Videos can provide a sensory or pop culture appeal that is missing from text-based sources.
  • News videos often provide background and insight on major events as they are unfolding.
  • Some kinds of videos used in college-level teaching and learning (TV ads, ethnographic film, how-to videos) just don't have a text-based equivalent.
